i made it….

three hundred and sixty six days…..three hundred and sixty six photos…..and over 20,000 site hits!!!!

i want to thank all of my friends and family for putting up with me this past year….and understanding how important this project was to me.

i want to thank every single person that checked out my blog…..even if it was just once or on a regular basis.  you guys kept me motivated and definitely helped me to get through this past year and push myself to make my photos as interesting as possible.

i especially want to thank those of you that told someone you know about my site and my project!  looking through the statistics some days…..i just can’t believe where some people are viewing my site from.  Japan, The Netherlands, all over Canada and the US…Russia…Africa!!  seriously……thank you from the bottom of my heart.

so what next?  i have had a lot of people asking me what comes next…….what’s my plan after 366?  another 365 days?  a photo a week?

honestly i don’t quite know just yet.  i plan to keep shooting and posting quite often just not every day…..so i hope you guys keep coming back and checking things out.

thank you all again so very much from the bottom of my heart….love you all!

Harvey - Hey Chris, I’ve sent a few messages to you in the past on your pictures, I think the first time was on the picture of you guys testing that new boom you engineered. (may have been under the alias nilbert)

Ever since I found you, I have been sure to check your blog daily. I’ve truly enjoyed your work and you have inspired me to become better at photography. I am pretty new to the game but I strive to be as good as you, a lot harder than I ever expected.

I will continue to follow you and your happenings, I also recommended you to my sister in law who is now getting married, I’de have to say that she was blown away by your work. And even more by your price. Steal of a deal!

I also like the new look of your blog. Did you code it yourself?

Congratulations on completing your 366, It is just terrific, I looked at every single picture and I can’t choose a favorite I really enjoy all of them.

I can’t wait to see what is next! And if you ever need an apprentice, Count me in.

Chris - thank you guys so much for following along.

to hear that you guys followed along so closely and thought so much of my work really means more to me than you know.

i started this project as a personal quest….and it truly took on a personality and mind of it’s own. i am so glad i started this…i know i would not have the same confidence and drive to be better that i do now. everyone one should do one of these some day! even if it’s just a snapshot a day… it’s really fun looking back through the year and knowing exactly what i was doing or what was going through my mind each day.

Chris - @siobhan…thank you! i am so thrilled about this past year and what it’s meant to me. i have learned so much and experienced many new things i may not have ever…and some things i might never have had the chance either. i hope you pursue what interests you and what you love. The photo-community in Edmonton is great. so many wonderful and talented people. perhaps one of these days we’ll run into each other, if not we might have to make it happen. haha. take care! thank you again for your support.
